Gel or Liquid Eyeliner? Some tips for beginner

When I begin to draw eye liner, it’s difficult for me to choose eyeliner. Gel or Liquid Eyeliner? Most of beginners will face this problem.

What are the differences between gel and liquid eyeliners and the looks that can be achieved with each?

Gels are more forgiving and easier to apply while liquid eyeliner is hard to control. For a beginner, I definitely recommended gel eyeliner because you can build it depending on whether you want a soft or heavy effect and this is my favorite type of eyeliner. It not only blends in smoothly, but it's thick enough to make your eyes pops.

If you developed a steady, liquid eyeliner works great. This type applies much more smoothly than gel, which allows for a sharp wing-tipped or cat-eye look. I recommend using liquid liner for evening events as it's a lot starker than pencil and gel. If you prefer the neat, yet dramatic, look over the smudgy smoky-eye, this one's for you. I have to mention that liquid needs more time to dry so you should not blink your eyes immediately when you finish drawing with liquid one.

However, if you want to have long-lasting eyeliner, water-proof eyeliner is your best choice. At the same time, it is harder to remove so you must use cleansing oil to remove it rather than cleansing cream.
