Shoud I Lose Some Weight?

Maintaining a healthy diet and following an exercise regime are the best ways to remove the disease and live a long life full. Unfortunately, gaining weight and obesity have been a growing problem not only in the United States, but worldwide. With more and more our busy lives, we leave ourselves rarely enough time to eat a balanced meal or take the time to exercise. In this article we will discuss why maintaining a healthy weight is so important and how to know if you need to lose weight.
Lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle are very important in preventing a number of diseases and disorders. Being overweight can put extra strain on the heart, causing high blood pressure and may lead to heart disease. The exercise helps build bone health and can prevent or delay the onset of osteoporosis. Not only exercise is good for the body, but it is also good for the mind. The exercise of press serotonin, which regulates mood. It can leave you feeling happy after a good workout and can relieve stress. Exercise can also relieve the tensions, stressed muscles after a long day.
Get in better shape not only help you in the long term, but will give you a better idea of self-confidence. Let's face it - there is much discrimination there for people who are overweight. Fitness will make you feel better about yourself.
If you do not know if you need to lose weight, try to calculate your BMI, or body mass index. This calculation, based on your height and weight, you can give an approximation of the amount of fat in your body. To calculate your BMI, multiply your weight in pounds by 703, then divide by your height in inches twice. The goal is to have a BMI between 18.5 and 25, while 25 states and more overweight, while over 30 is obese.
